Fire detection system based on advanced techniques for processing infrared signals to the Natural Park of Font Roja (NATURAFOC). Description: The earlier a fire is detected the more chance there to prevent it from becoming an uncontrolled fire with devastating effect. We have developed an automated system that allows infrared images from the detection of early stage fires. For this we have installed a pilot unit in the Natural Park of Font Roja (Alcoy) that allows real-time monitoring and remotely over a wide area. The system is intended to demonstrate the feasibility of these techniques and it has been tested successfully in controlled burns. Today is to adapt the facilities to improve the functionality of the system and analyze the performance of the prototype continuous basis. .
